If patients did nothing after tooth loss
Loss of Vertical Dimension of the Face
When patients experience tooth loss and does not support the face with dentures or dental implants, the dimension of the face changes over time.
Denture Home Care
Dentures should be kept clean each day to avoid development of fungus in the mouth by soaking the dentures in a cup of water with a denture cleaning tablet, such as Polident or Efferdent. If there are food debris between the denture teeth, a denture toothbrush should be used to remove them. Avoid brushing your dentures with your toothbrush and toothpaste because this can create scratches in the dentures that allow bacteria to reside and create bad odor.

Perfect smile Dental group was able to take me in the same day I called to make an appointment. Magadalena (front desk) was very sweet and professional. The dental assistant was amazing and gental with taking my xrays. The Dr was very thorough, went over all my xrays and explained every thing to me in detail. He even showed me videos just to make sure I understood the treatment plan. I have never experienced this type of treatment at any other office. This place is amazing, Im definitely coming back and recommending this office to anyone and everyone who is looking for a great dentist!!! Believe me the level of care is excellent =)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Walter Eliab2024-07-03The entire staff have been kind, helpful, and informative. I've done several procedures with them and while it may take time, you know you're in good hands. If you're looking for a dentist, then come here! Advice: book your appointments early. Or else you'll be waiting for awhile as the doctor will be speaking with other patients. It's not a deal breaker, but good advice. Everything else about the location is clean, professional, and pleasant.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Liliana Hernandez2024-06-13I recently visited Perfect Smile Dental Group whom I found through Google, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. You can immediately tell that they genuinely care for their patients. Everyone is so nice here. It's rare to find a dentist who not only excels professionally but also prioritizes the well-being of their patients. I recommend this place!!!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.artisia alcazar2024-05-16Extremely pleased, Dr and staff helpful and professional, Dr took the time to explain everything my mother needed and what he recommended
ExcellentBased on 26 reviewsVerifiedMarisa C.2024-05-02Yes this is a long review but they deserve it!! I had a positive experience here and would recommend this dentist to anyone. (I actually already have!) Due to a variety of factors, I had not been to the dentist in at least 2-3 years. I was in desperate need of a cleaning. I researched online which local dentists took my Medi-Cal plan and had availability. I read reviews to check which dentists were known for a gentle and safe approach. I obviously found the right one - which turned out to be important because I had to come back more times to fill several cavities. This was extremely scary for me. But Dr. Yang, Sabrina and Magdalena made the whole process as comfortable, efficient, and painless as possible. They answered all my questions, continually checked in & paused as needed, and let me know in advance everything they were doing and why. I also have never been to a dentist that had so much useful technology. The space itself was modern and clean. I appreciated that they had mouthwash in the bathroom lol. I actually feel more confident now that my teeth are clean and healthy. I hope I can come back for my appt already scheduled for the fall. Anyone who has sensory issues or dental anxiety (or just wants healthier teeth//to have a more positive and educated experience at the dentist) could benefit from making an appt here.VerifiedHeang L.2024-03-25I found this dentist when I was searching for a Dentist in Whittier. Due to severe grinding, most of my teeth have problems. I hesitated going to the dentist for years until my dental bridge broke. When I came to see Dr. Yang, his office was clean, welcoming and professional. The staff was really friendly. Dr. Yang was very through during the exam. He took photos of my teeth and showed me on the X-rays where I had cavities and where I needed to have dental crowns to prevent my teeth from breaking. He also told me I needed a night guard to protect my teeth from breaking when I grind my teeth when I am sleeping. I was very impressed with his attention to details. He took his time in explaining and answering all my questions. I don't think I have had a dentist that cared enough to take the time to explain everything so I can understand what was going on in my mouth. I had the best cleaning. My teeth never felt so clean before! I have been coming here for my dental needs and have been very happy with their customer service that I decided to stay with this dentist for my dental implants. I highly recommend this office!Verifiedluis s.2024-03-05Recently went saturday 3/2/2024 to get a tooth extracted from the minute I called towards the end of getting tooth removed front desk & dentist showed professionalism. They saw me as soon as possible when I broke my filling and tooth and wasted no time in getting me prepped and ready for a crown. Dr. Yang is amazing. I feel very comfortable with him and his staff. He always makes sure I'm alright and not in pain before proceeding with the next step and explains everything thoroughly. I'm very happy I found him and his clinic. I couldn't ask for a better team. I definitely recommend him. 10/10 best dentist!VerifiedGilbert P.2023-10-14I cannot say enough good things about this office. Dr. Yen is a master of his craft, i have complete confidence in his ability. I hadn't had dental check in 15 plus years and he found all my problems. I will be returning to him to address them in the near future. The front desk cleric Magdalena (hope this is correct spelling) is very knowledgeable, she will guild you thru the process with ease. It never good news to be told you need dental work, but she makes it as easy as possible. I will update this after my dental work is done and fully recovered. Furthermore, they give you an easy-to-understand paperwork detailing everything just be sure to double check the back page. I know I'm forgetting something it will be in the next update.VerifiedBernard D.2023-08-24I developed a toothache right before my first vacation in 10 years.
